This Privacy Policy describes how CronoWare LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”), operator of Little Study Buddy, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Service.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: your email address and name when you create an account, study materials you upload, and your study activity (quiz scores, flashcard reviews). We also collect basic usage data such as pages visited and features used.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, process payments, send you notifications you opt into (such as flashcard review reminders), and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Your Uploaded Content
Study materials you upload are processed by our AI pipeline solely to generate your study content. Files are stored securely in Cloudflare R2. We do not use your uploaded content to train AI models or share it with other users.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Neon (database), Cloudflare R2 (file storage), Anthropic (AI generation), and Upstash (rate limiting). Each has their own privacy practices.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings, which permanently removes all your data from our systems.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at support@littlestudybuddy.com. EU and California residents have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication and to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date.
